"I was in the IT when the internet didn't esxist yet and built my own computer when I was 14 years old. In the past 30 years I have been a programmer after I graduated from the HTS as an engineer in technical computer sciences, but most of all I learned a lot about the technical infrastructure behind IT. My focus was mainly on migrations. From desktops to virtual environments, from a lot of dataservers to a handfull or from a network mess to something more managable. I can get to the hart of a problem in a short time and solve it in most cases, because of my broad IT experience. Besides my work for Logica I work parttime for a small firm which specializes in recreational navigation. So, in my case the rouite can be the destination, but it's always the result that counts."

 

HobbiesI like communication in the broadest possible sense (e.g. computernetworks, internet, telephony, producing video's, data- and radiocommunication), reading and Role Playing Games. Since I own a GPS, I'm also into geocaching (mostly with the whole family).

I was the author of a booklet about telecom for managers and writer of a couple of articles for the dutch monthly telecommunications magazine Verbinding.
